Using another warp tunnel conjured by Vinz, the agents successfully returned to the Workshop Hangar at the Aserion Outpost with the Eye of Voll in their possession. Exhausted from their ordeal, the group took time to clean their gear and rest. Venykar’s Sanctifiers remained with them in the hangar, standing guard to ensure that rival hunting groups could not intercept the agents before extraction. After establishing vox-contact with Alicia Wylde, a series of high-level negotiations with the Planetary Administratum took place. As a result, an Aquila Lander was dispatched to the outpost to extract the agents and their prize. The journey to the orbit was successful and without incident. Once aboard their voidship, the agents officially handed over the Eye of Voll. Through Alicia Wylde, they received the formal thanks and commendation of the Lord Captain.
Fulfilling a personal promise made to Morgan Trace, the agents were permitted to use the Aquila Lander one last time. They located and retrieved Adriana Corbid, Trace’s childhood friend, bringing her safely to the pirate leader. This allowed Morgan Trace to finally attempt her escape from the Marauders. The betrayal was discovered at the last possible moment as the Marauders realized their leader was deserting them. However, Severin and Alicia acted swiftly, neutralizing the immediate threats before the cultists could intervene. As the Aquila Lander ascended, it came under heavy fire from the massive main gun of the stilt-walker, The Float. Through the pilot's expert maneuvers, the ship evaded the incoming fire and broke away from the combat zone.
With Morgan Trace safely on board, the Aquila Lander was granted permission to land in Hive Dalal, specifically within the spaceport district controlled by House Nethercare. Upon arrival, Trace was met and received by her brother, marking the end of her life among the wastes. With their mission complete and their debts paid, the agents returned to their duties under the Lord Captain.
