On the road to Kragon’s Flask, Zenyi Restax was forced to slam the brakes as two fleeing stilt-walkers crossed the damway. One fell into the toxic mire and was immediately attacked by a massive Acynadi. Without hesitation, the agents disembarked and intervened. The stilt-walker was saved, and Vinz tended to his wounds before the journey continued.
Kragon’s Flask, an unaccredited supply post hidden within a dried ravine of Gamma-74, was alive with activity. Wrecked vehicles, Cargo-8 haulers, stilt-fleet walkers, scavengers, mechanics, and wasteland traders filled the narrow gorge. Within the Barter Hall, violence was forbidden under threat of Ramm Kragon’s wrath, enforced by his guards and reputation.
After careful negotiation, Alicia and Cesare were granted an audience with Kragon. Surrounded by humming cogitators, a watchful Servitor, and a hovering Servo-Skull, Kragon agreed to sell what he knew for 1,500 solars. He revealed that the marauders operated from a mobile, armoured stilt-walker known as The Float, that he had secretly placed a tracking device upon it, and that the Eye of Voll—taken from Survey Crawler B38649—had ultimately passed into the hands of Markis Sihn. He also warned that Venykar’s Sanctifiers had passed through the ravine only hours earlier.
That same night, the agents set out. Before leaving the Flask, they were confronted by Heldrax and his Stalkers, who proposed an alliance. The offer was refused, and Vinz subtly twisted the Warp, cursing Heldrax’s inferno pistol.
Two hours later, the agents reached The Float. Beneath its towering hull, the marauders’ camp burned with fires, noise, and excess. Through bribery and negotiation, the party secured passage aboard the walker to meet Morgan Trace.
Within The Float’s unexpectedly refined interior, Trace dismissed her guards once Markis Sihn and the Eye of Voll were mentioned. She revealed the truth: she is a childhood friend of Adriana Corbid, Sihn’s lover and self-proclaimed Left Hand. Trace fears Sihn’s powers are corrupting and begged the agents to save Corbid from him.
Trace admitted that Rastigan Dorin had orchestrated the attack on the crawler, offering its location in exchange for delivering the Eye to Sihn. The raid spiralled into slaughter, destroying the crawler and sealing Trace’s fate. Now hunted and exposed, she asked the agents to escort her to Hive Dalal or Hive Rokarth once their mission was complete.
The web of lies surrounding Markis Sihn tightened. The path forward was clear—but soaked in blood, betrayal, and the Emperor’s judgement yet to fall.
